After their disastrous failure of attacking Ai because of the sin of Achan, God promised the people of Israel a successful attack of Ai the second time. Unlike the first time, God also promised them its spoil and its livestock as plunder for themselves. Achan committed the sin because of taking some devoted things from Jericho. So, what is the difference this time? What has changed God's attitude?
